Trend Personnel Services is hiring an experienced Machinist for an established precision manufacturing client in Garland, TX. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a skilled machinist with strong mechanical aptitude and experience producing precision parts to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machining equipment to produce precision parts and components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and adjustments
- Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances
- Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues
- Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work area
- Follow all quality, safety, and production procedures
Qualifications
- Previous machinist experience required
- Experience setting up and operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and understand dimensions and tolerances
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and consistently produce quality parts
- Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety
Pay: $25–$30/hour, depending on experience.
